Wanda, RDA
I have been working with Dr. Furlong at a different office since 1997, and we opened Jackson Orthodontics together in 2001. I have been in the Orthodontic/Dental field since 1988.
When I started with Dr. Furlong, I was one of her assistants. Later on, I tried my hat at all other aspects of the office until I found my home as the office manager.
In my opinion, orthodontics is the most rewarding of the dental fields. You become close with the patients and their families since you see them for more frequent visits than their general dentist. Witnessing the transformation in our patients throughout their treatment is the most amazing thing.
My family includes my husband, Wally; my three sons, Walter, Maximillian and Sam; and my dog, Cooper.
I enjoy decorating my house, shopping, cooking (when I have time), being involved with my boys and their sports and activities, and spending time with my family, my sister Renie, and also my wonderful friends.
Something interesting about me that you may be surprised to know: there isn't much that would surprise you since I'm very talkative and like to share my life stories with all!

I have been working with Dr. Furlong since 2006 and in the orthodontic/dental field since 2004.
I work primarily at the front desk, greeting our guests as they come in, scheduling appointments, and doing whatever is necessary to help our patients. I also have several years of experience as a treatment coordinator and I am x-ray certified. I love orthodontics because I love working with people. My favorite type of patient is the one who comes in for the very first time and they are very anxious or apprehensive about starting treatment. By the end of their appointment, they are comfortable and the trust and the friendship have been built. I love seeing my patients through treatment from beginning to end…hugs at anytime from them are a bonus!
My family includes my two sons and my dog, Sadie.
When I am not at work, I enjoy airbrushing, working out, spending time with friends and family, and hiking up Mount Washington every summer.
